Daffodil Day Fundraiser
Thank you to all our students who very kindly donated to the Cancer Society Daffodil Day fundraiser. We raised $469 for this very important and worthy cause.
Scholastic Book Orders
The brochures are out and orders need to be in to the office by NEXT Friday 8 September 2017 at 3 pm. Payment can be made by cash, cheque or credit card. Any cheques need to be made out to Scholastic New Zealand. Alternatively, you can order online (see the order page in the brochure for details). Every order earns 20% back in rewards which are used to fund additional books for the school library.

We have had one case of school sores reported at school - this is now being treated.
If your child has any cuts, please check them out carefully and if they are not healing, please go to the doctor in case they become infected and need to be treated with antibiotics.

Dairy Flat Vets are coming to school on Thursday 14th September at 2.30pm to ring and vaccinate animals. Please add your name to list in Ag Day folder, so we know how many to organise for.
Not too late to get an animal. Cut off date 15th September.
Ag Day entry forms are due back ASAP. Pizza lunch for first class to get all their forms in first.
Keep going with your chicken diaries, recording all your chicken's changes in a creative and interesting way. Examples of diaries are on the table in the office. Animal training should be well underway.
Make sure you are checking the Dairy Flat website under the Ag Day heading as there is new information added regularly.
