Car Park Inconvenience
We are finally on the way with our new six classroom block. We are very excited! However, this will mean some disruption in our car park over the next 9 months. This will be kept to a minimum as far as possible. This week the access to the site is being put in. Trucks will be using the car park area outside the hall. Please be aware that parking will be compromised. You may need to park on the road outside school - please do so safely and carefully. We appreciate your patience and co-operation during this time.

Ice Rink - Call for Volunteers
PLEASE HELP US. We are calling for any volunteers to help us set up the Ice Rink on 15th November from 4pm. This is a fantastic opportunity for both our students and the public to come and experience ice skating but we need volunteers to help set this up for it to go ahead. Uniformity Relocation
Our school uniform company, Uniformity, are merging with Argyle and will be moving their premises from Silverdale.This means there will be no walk-in orders or pickups from their factory. However, we are negotiating to sell school hats at the office in the near future. We will advise further information in the next few weeks regarding this.

A reminder that term 4 is a sunhat wearing term. All students must wear their sunhat outside during term 4 and term 1.

Rippa Rugby
Our Year 3/4 and 5/6 Girls Rippa teams were invited to play in a mini tournament as a curtain raiser to the New Zealand Black Ferns and the Australian Wallaroos test match at North Harbour Stadium on Wednesday.
Our girls played well with our Year 3/4 girls having a draw and 2 losses. Our Year 5/6 girls had 2 wins and a loss. Players of the day were: Pippa Lloyd and Mackenzie Coggins.
Our girls were involved in a pre- game parade and the Year 3/4 girls escorted the Wallaroos onto the field!
Thank you to the girls for representing the school so well. A huge thank you to all parents who helped transport and very special thanks to Linda Little and Trish Hunter who managed the teams on the day. See photos below.

Year 5/6 age group (mixed). Blitz is free, 8-a-side, after school cricket. Auckland Cricket and Hibiscus Coast CC provide all the equipment and an umpire/scorer for each game. The competition will be played every Thursday for four weeks from 10 November to 1 December. The games will run from 4-5.30pm. The venue will be Metro Park. Please fill in attached form and return to the office

Children from LZ1 who have chosen to attend this zone day next week will have a hard copy permission slip in their bag today. A digital copy is attached below. Please return this to the office asap. We will be unable to attend if we do not get enough transport. Many thanks in advance.
