Hope you are all organised

  • Friday 18th October    – lego/ block construction to the hall by 9am with Ag day number   
  •                                     – everything to make the 2 classroom activities-ready for judging in the afternoon
  • Saturday 19th October – bring to school – lambs, goats, caged pets, mystery seeds, scarecrows and lots of money
  •                                      – 9am- Roll call with judging to start straight afterwards

Honey Deliveries: Honey orders will be sent home with children on Thursday/Friday.

AG Day Set-up this Friday: The PTA will be working hard on Friday between 8am-6pm setting up the hall and grounds for Saturday.  If you can help out please stop by the hall and you will be put to work.

AG Day Rosters: By now each family should have been contacted by email about helping out for half an hour on a stall or game on Ag Day.  It is very important that you turn up to your allocated slot or find another person to cover your slot. If you do not turn up to your allocated slot, you leave another parent/helper waiting to be relieved or the stall will be unattended. We thank you for your support in making this a great AG Day.

 AG Day Cakes: Cakes can be dropped off at the staff room on Friday or first thing Saturday morning.

 Ag Day Eggs: Eggs can be dropped off at the hall kitchen on Friday.

 AG Day White Elephant: You can drop off your goods all day Thursday and Friday at the school hall. Books, toys and games. Soft toys. Small appliances and household items in working condition. Clothes and shoes.  NOTHING broken, rusty, with parts missing etc. No oil column or gas heaters.  Any questions or queries regarding the White Elephant please contact Susan:

Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon

Entries are now open for the 2020 Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon, to register as part of the Dairy Flat school group follow this link

Event date: Sunday 22 March – Location: Hibiscus Coast

Early bird entries are open now until 1 March 2020

Splash and dash available for 6 and 7 year olds

TRYathletes need to be 7+

Hibiscus Coast AFC

I'm writing to you to remind you that our football in school programme (Football FUNdamentals) starts in week two of the term.

Our school football sessions are run at each school in the area, we have lunch and after school sessions.

Our sessions are full of FUN activities, games and football drills which will develop kids motor skills in a safe environment.

This programme is the perfect introduction to football and a way to learn and improve their skills.

All our coaches working in this sessions are :

-) First aid qualify and have access to a first aid kit

-) All our coaches are Police Vetted

-) New Zealand Football coaching qualification

-) Child protection trained 

-) Sign out procedure in place to guaranty kids are in a safe environment and are going home with their parent/caregiver.

Lunch football programme:

When: Thursday (start on the 24th Oct) – Where: Dairy Flat school Hall – Time: 1 – 1:45 pm – Cost: $64 (for 8 weeks)

Central Landscape Supplies & Neville Bros

A huge thank you to Central Landscape Supplies who donated two truckloads of mulch for our gardens and to Neville Bros who donated the delivery.
We are appreciative of the their support.

School Fun Run

The prizes for the School Fun run were handed out to your child today.  Please look out for these in their bag!

If for any reason your child bring home a prize they didn't order or they are missing part of the prize they ordered, or if they come home with no prize but they order one … please email Courtney Ryder

We are aware that some children haven't received all of their ordered prize, so your patience and consideration is appreciated.

Amber Hazelwood and her class will be having their winning pizza lunch tomorrow – Amber was the highest fundraiser for 2019 – Thank you to Amber and her family.

Thank you to all our families for your ongoing and generous support with events like these.  Your support continues to allow our school to purchase additional classroom resources.  Thank you
