the opening of the
retail store in Silverdale they have decided to close the website
Uniform is now only available to purchase direct from Positive Image, Unit B, 16 Silverdale Street, Silverdale

If your child is not attending school would you please inform the school office either by phone, email – or using the school app
It is a Ministy of Education requirement to notified school of any pupil absence
Could we also ask that if your child is late arriving to school that you come through the office to sign the late arrivals book – this will avoid us having to contact parents of children that are in school but have not been marked as present

A warm welcome back to school to both existing and new DFS families. If you would like to help the PTA with fundraising activities this year please watch this space. Major fundraisers are the High Tea in April and Ag Day in October. We also run food stalls at events during the year and offer lunch orders from time to time.  If you are interested in helping please reach out to us at or attend one of our meetings.
Next meeting: The next meeting of the PTA will be on Tuesday 16th February at 7pm in the School Staffroom. All welcome. If you are unable to attend and would like to raise anything at the meeting please email the team at

High Tea: Will be held on Saturday 10th April. Tickets will go on sale soon. If you own or work in a business that can donate items for the Silent Auction please contact Sarah Richardson:
Farewell and best wishes: We say goodbye to Sarah Lloyd (PTA Board Rep) and family. Thank you for your support over many years. You will be missed! Good luck with your new adventure.
After school programmes
Our after school programmes are back for another term and we are really excited to get back outside with the students and have some fun! These programmes are for the year 0-4 students and we focus on 4 different sports each term throughout the year

Aubrey Early Learning Centre
We have limited places becoming available as many of our children leave for school. Some of our toddlers (teina cottage) are moving up to the tuakana house (2 to 5 year olds), so we have a couple of places available in this area too.
If you would like a small family run centre with long term, dedicated teachers who are passionate about providing a stimulating learning environment, please get in touch…….. or 4211097. We have a learn through play based philosophy and we have five acres to explore, and lovely animals to interact with. 71 Aubrey Rd Silverdale/Stillwater
