Teacher only Days – School Closed
Curriculum Professional Development.  School will be closed for teacher only days on the following dates.

5th – School Picnic – Wenderholm Regional Park Site 2 -Time: 9.00am – 2.30pm (School closed) Information & permission slips will be sent home next week
10th – 1.45pm – LZ3 & 4 Swim Sports
11th  – 1.30pm – LZ2 Swim Sports
11th – (16th – Rain saved day) – Ultimate Frisbee Year 5/6 Metro Park
12th – 9.00am – Assembly
17th-19th – Year 5/6  Camp at Marsden Bay
23rd – Parent Interviews – School closes at 12.30pm – Buses will pick-up at 12.30pm

Saturday mornings Pinehurst School Bush road.
Season goes from 15th May – 11th September (not including school holidays and public holidays).
Fees will be approximately $80 plus a uniform charge
 
Football

First Kicks 5 and 6 year olds – $65
Fun Football 7 and 8 year olds $100
Junior Football 9- 11 year olds $150

PTA
PTA Meeting tonight – Thursday 25th – 7pm in the School Staffroom. New parents welcome. If you cannot attend and have something to raise at the meeting please email the team by 5pm at dairyflatschoolpta@gmail.com.

 
Picnic Pop Up Stall – Cakes & Sweet Treat Donations: PTA will be running a pop up stall at the picnic on Friday 5th March. If you can bring along some sweet treats (individually portioned cupcakes, slices, cookies, marshmallows sticks etc) for us to sell that would be much appreciated. Ice blocks, drinks and chips will also be on sale. 

Honey fundraiser: We still have a few Manuka blend honey pots left. $40 for 1kg. Please contact Sarah Richardson to order: sarahandlloyd@gmail.com.

High Tea: Will be held on Saturday 10th April. Tickets will go on sale soon. If you own or work in a business that can donate items for the Silent Auction please contact Sarah Richardson: sarahandlloyd@gmail.com

 

COMMUNITY NOTICES

Orewa Beach Kindergarten Ducky Derby – Sunday 21 March 12.30-3.30pm, Western Reserve, Orewa. A much-loved event where 100’s of spectators gather to watch 750 rubber ducks race down the Orewa Estuary. The first 3 ducks to cross the line win some great prizes. Plus food, entertainment and raffles while you wait for the race. See www.facebook.com/OrewaDuckyDerby for more info and tickets.
