Term 3 – Week 5 – 26th August 2021

PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

 Tēnā koutou katoa

We hope that you are managing well in your Alert Level 4 Bubbles.  Thanks   for all of the support that you are giving to the teachers and  classroom   programmes. We couldn’t do it without you!!

There have been lots of reminders from the Government and Ministry of Health about Wellbeing and the importance of family time.

Tips

  • Focus on today, be present whether it be with your children, whanau, work or yourself.
  • Resist the temptation to think too far ahead.  We can not control that.
  • Sort your routine and plan a timetable each day where the whole family can see it.
    • Include fun activities,  a walk, board games, bake off, nerf gun fights,  family challenges, the list is endless.
  • Don’t sweat the small stuff.  Tomorrow is another day.
  • It is okay to take an easy option when things are tough.  TV, iPad games, etc
  • Prioritise and resist distractions.  Keep to routines.
  • Keep in contact with your family and friends.
  • ‘Be kind whenever possible, it is always possible’  – Dalai lama
