Another week in Level 4.  Numbers are coming down so I am feeling hopeful we will go into Level 3 next week. Planning is underway for those tamariki who need to come to school.  Please fill in this form if you and your whanau work outside the home and do not have care at home.

Learning packs are available for pick up on Monday between 12.30 – 2.00pm.  Please fill in this form so that staff know how many to prepare.

Māori Language Week has been celebrated each year from 1975. September 14 and commemorates the presentation of the 1972 Māori language petition to parliament.

Kia kaha te reo Māori

Kia kaha’ is well understood in New Zealand English with its meaning of ‘be strong’. We often talk about languages as if they are people – talking about language health, strength and revitalisation. So when we say ‘Kia kaha te reo Māori’ we’re saying  – ‘Let’s make the Māori language strong’.

Thank you to all who are including Te reo in every day communication this week and every week.

Here are some examples of online learning this week.  Keep it up

He aroha whakatō, he aroha puta mai.
