Drop Off and Pick Up Procedures

End of Day Pick Up Procedures

To ensure the safety and security of all our students, we ask that parents and caregivers strictly adhere to the following dismissal procedures.

At the end of the school day, students may be collected from one of two designated locations:

• Classroom Collection: Parents are welcome to walk to their child’s classroom to meet them directly.
• The Red Line: Students may be collected at the Red Line, located between the School Hall and the Library.

Please Note: These are the only two authorised exit points for students. To maintain a secure environment, no other gates or exits are to be used for afternoon pickup. Additionally, the playground is not to be used by children waiting for collection. 

• School staff are on duty at the Red Line gate to monitor all departures and ensure children are met by their caregivers.
• No student is permitted to cross the Red Line or leave the school grounds on their own.

Late Pick-Ups & Changes in Plans

We understand that delays can happen. Please follow these protocols if your plans change:

1. Any child not collected by the end of the duty period will be escorted to the School Office.
2. If a child is brought to the office, our staff will contact parents or emergency contacts to arrange collection.
3. If you know you are going to be late, or if someone different is picking up your child, please notify the School Office as early as possible.
4. Children waiting for late arrivals must remain safely in the School Office until a parent or guardian arrives.

Bus Children

Children catching the bus must assemble promptly at the designated areas for roll call.

 

Start of Day Pick Up Procedures

For the safety and supervision of all students, the school is only responsible for children from 8:30am onwards.

Children who are dropped off before this time must wait quietly outside the school office until their teacher arrives and classrooms are opened. Please note that staff are not on duty to supervise students prior to 8:30am.

The only exception is for bus students, who may arrive slightly earlier and will be accommodated accordingly.

We appreciate your support in ensuring children are not left at school unsupervised before 8:30am.
